News - Air Evacuation System

Using one of our established global distributors, we have just completed a contract for an automated sack filling system.

The system consisted of:

• Sack Placer with tail separator.

• Sack clamp.

• Air in sack reduction system.

• Total Bag Control system with conveyors.

• Hot air sealer.

The foil and poly sacks are automatically placed onto a sack clamp where they are filled with product from a nett weighing machine.

The sack top is then formed and most of the free air inside is evacuated. The duration of evacuation is fully adjustable to suit all applications.

The sack is then automatically transferred to the heat sealer without letting go of it so that complete control is achieved.

This particular client found it impossible to achieve a stable and secure pallet of stacked bags with air inside them. Thanks to the evacuation system, pallet instability is a thing of the past.
