Pacepacker Gusset Reforming Total Bag Control (TBC)

One of our latest sack closing systems has been installed at a UK slug pellet manufacturing plant.

The original Pacepacker system consisted of a T20 Sack Placer, Ticket Dispenser and Stitcher. The filled bags were presented to the Stitcher by an operator who reformed the gussets by hand.

To improve the manufacturing plant and automate the packing process Pacepacker Services were contracted to upgrade the sack placer by adding a magazine conveyor making it a T21 and to install a gusset reforming Total Bag Control system.

To keep the project costs down, the clients existing Ticket Dispenser and Stitcher have been incorporated into the TBC system.

After being sealed, bags are kicked onto an elevating conveyor where operators collect them for palletising.
