Gusset Reforming Total Bag Control (TBC)

Pacepacker have a long history of exporting machinery and a traditionally strong market is Scandinavia. They have recently taken a third repeat order for a complete bagging system in Norway & Sweden at potato packing plants. These consist of C21-Series sack placers coupled with our latest gusset re-forming “TBC” system, which is capable of handling bags from 25kg down to 2kg.

This system is extremely versatile, with ultra quick-change filling heads for different bag and gusset sizes and high capacity sack magazine for bags, both with or without handles. These systems provide the necessary “point of sale” presentation demanded by the customer, coupled with the speed, versatility and value for which Pacepacker are renowned.

F1 Low Level Palletiser

Pacepacker Services Ltd are currently completing a palletising installation for F H Nash (Bailey's Horse Feeds) in Essex. They have been a very long standing customer for the Pacepacker range of equipment and have a variety of products, ranging from a C20 sack placer through to an automatic Robotic palletiser.

They also purchased one of the first F1 Low Level Palletsiers that is still being used today, but have decided to upgrade main section and control system.

Gusset Reforming Total Bag Control (TBC)

One of our latest sack closing systems have been installed at a UK slug pellet manufacturing plant.

The TBC system was integrated into the line that had an existing T20 Sack Placer and reforms gussets on paper sacks before dispensing ticket prior to the stitcher.

The sealed bags are then kicked onto an elevating conveyor where operators collect them for palletising.

Basic Stitching System

As well as offering fully automated turnkey systems, we also provide individual machines and basic systems.

We have recently shipped one of these systems for use on agricultural produce and provides and excellent cost effective solution. As with all Pacepacker equipment, it is fully modular and can be upgraded at any time in the future to incorporate items such as a sack placer.

Grip, Lift & Turn Unit

As well as designing & manufacturing motorised sack kicks to kick bags off of conveyors, Pacepacker also have an in-line unit that picks the filled sack up, rotates it through ninety degrees and lowers the bag back onto the takeaway conveyor. This unit enables packing lines to be in-line from weigher to palletiser allowing clients to save valuable floor space.

Recent products we have handled include bird seed, animal feed and pet food, although this unit can be used in other industries.

Air Evacuation System

Using our established network of global distributors, we have just exported a complete automated sack filling system. Foil Bags are automatically placed onto a sack clamp where they are filled with product, they are then formed for heat sealing and an air evacuation system extracts most of the free air from inside the bag.

This particular client found it impossible to achieve a stable and secure pallet of stacked bags with air inside them. Thanks to the evacuation system, pallet stability is a thing of the past.

A Chocolate Chip Off Of The Block

Not only do we design and manufacture our own products, we work with other suppliers and manufacturers allowing us to put together complete turnkey systems.

One such system was for one of the biggest chocolate manufacturers worldwide and required us to project manage a complete packing system. This involved working to specific company standards and parts requiring us to design a completely bespoke set of equipment.

TBC System Packing Flour

Amongst many optional extras for our equipment we, where needed we offer retracting under-posser and dust extraction pads for powdery products such as flour.

This particular system installed earlier this year has both of these items fitted and works in conjunction with a C21 sack placer, sack top fold over unit and stitcher.

Once again, this project was to replace an existing Pacepacker system that needed upgrading to the new, improved and proven range of products we currently have on offer.

Robot End Effecters / Grippers

To enable the Fanuc robots that we supply fulfil their tasks we have a range of end effecters to suit most applications.

Where it be boxes, trays, bags, poly packs or slip sheets we have the solution.

The effecters shown were supplied to a Lithuanian flour mill and were supplied configured and ready for the client to fit.

Concrete Proof

The build quality of our products is extremely high and can be used in harsh environments such as aggregate plants and concrete manufacturing facilities.

Roller Conveyors like the one shown can be used for transferring pallets in an automatic palletising cell or for conveying heavy slab products like concrete.

This particular unit was exported to America.
